OK as I'm one of the few/many? less technicla bods on here is Multihack as easy as it appears?
If it is I shall have a go, but I must say I'm very nervous of stuff I don't know!
So come on any tips from those that have used it, any common mistakes? anyone else as unsure as me?

It's very easy to use once you done it once or twice.

I recommend using it on your test site first... just until you get the hang of it...
  • Use mhk to modify your files
  • FTP files from MHK output folder to your test site.
  • Check to make sure they work like they should
  • Copy files from your output folder to your production folder once you've determined the process went well.
  • Rinse and repeat with each modification seperately

lol heres what allen said in the small text in case you cant read it either:

1) Use mhk to modify your files
2) FTP files from MHK output folder to your test site.
3) Check to make sure they work like they should
4) Copy files from your output folder to your production folder once you've determined the process went well.
5) Rinse and repeat with each modification seperately

Sorry, I didn't notice this thread until now.

Wando,

The setup process is usually the hardest part. That simply means getting your file paths correct. This won't hurt anything, the program will just complain until they are correct. wink

All in all, once you give it a shot and spend a few minutes reading the docs or playing with the program, you shouldn't have much of a problem at all. And if you do, I would like to know where. It is supposed to make your life easier, not more difficult and I'll do what I can to make sure that happens.
